Sub editing question task

“The gang entered the Tower of London at around 10pm.  The jewelry was taken thru a hole cut with laser precision.  Police say the gang was well organized and no defense system could have prevented the crime.  At present the only clue is the color of the getaway car, a blue Nissan Micra.”

The sentence doesn’t have any spelling mistakes or errors but the the paragraph uses American spellings of words, examples are words like, jewelry,color and defense.
